◇ Usage of Used to
Used to 的用法
"used to ＋ 原V" 表示「過去經常做的行為，但現在不再發生了」的意思。好比例句：Babies also used to get a lot sicker a lot more often, with illnesses that compromise the body's ability to absorb nutrients. 意思表示 「以前嬰孩生病的頻率更頻繁，有些疾病會降低身體吸收營養的能力。」以前常常發生，但現在已經不太有這樣的狀況出現了。但若看到 “be used to + Ving" 就表示「平常習慣...」。
Example：
1. I used to drink coffee every morning.
我以前習慣每天早上喝咖啡。
2. I am used to drinking coffee every morning.
我習慣每天喝咖啡。
3. He used to smoke, but he finally quit smoking this year.
他以前會抽菸，但他今年戒菸了。
