◇ The Past Simple
過去簡單式
描述過去的句子裡經常可以看到 yesterday、last night、last week、last month、an hour ago 等等的過去時間副詞。這時記得，句子裡的動詞通常會是過去式唷！ 例如 when you were little、you said my dark circles were too dark... 都是代表發生在「過去」的事情。
Example：
1. I saw you guys at the department store this morning.
我今天早上在百貨公司看到你們。
2. We took the MRT to work today.
我們今天搭捷運上班。
3. After ten years, Sandra and I finally met yesterday.
經歷十年後，我跟 Sandra 昨天終於見面了。
