被動語態
1. 被動式的 be 動詞與過去分詞之間可安插副詞，因為副詞不影響句子結構。2. be used 是被動結構，to 表示「目的；用途」。因此 be used to 銜接「原形動詞」解釋為「被用來做…」，反之，如果 be used to 銜接的名詞或是動名詞 V-ing，則意為「現在習慣於 (從事) 某事」。另外表達「過去的習慣」是 used to 再加上原形動詞，前面並沒有 be 動詞，不要搞混了。例: The helicopter is used to take executives from hotels to airports to business meetings and it can be nice to skip the traffic. 其中 to 後方為 take 原形，表示「直升機被用來...」，而非「現在習慣於...」。
Example：
1. The burglar was arrested.
那名竊賊被逮捕了。
2. This website is used to apply for a driver’s license.
這個網站被用來申請駕照。
3. I am used to the noises in Taipei City.
我現在適應了台北市的噪音。
