被動語態
被動語態的結構並不複雜： 主詞(V) + Be動詞 + 過去分詞。要注意被動語態是用來表示對「承受」某動作的人或物的關注，而不是關注「執行」某動作的人或物。例如例句：Baby Owls are called Owlets and they look like a cotton ball that grew a face, and legs. 這句裡Baby Owls是被動的主詞，表示Baby Owls是被稱呼成Owlets，由be動詞＋call的過去分詞 所形成的被動語態。
Example：
1. Is it the case that the report was sent on time?
報告是否被準時發送？
2. We believed that the car was damaged by the storm.
我們相信汽車是被暴風鎖破壞。
3. Simon was offered the job.
Simon 得到此工作的邀約。
