◇ Superlatives
最高級
形容詞最高級，用來形容某事物是在某個群體中的之最。單音節形容詞通常直接加上 -est，多音節的形容詞，特別是字尾為 -ful、-less、-able、-ive、-ing 的，則會在字的加上 the most，例如 "the most serious role"。在大部分的情況下最高級前面都會加上 the。

1. Gabriel is the eldest son in his family.
Gabriel 是他家族中的長子。
2. Computers are one of the most important inventions of the 20th century.
電腦是２０世紀最重要的發明之一。
3. It's the best cafe in London.
這是倫敦最棒的咖啡廳。
