關係子句
非限定關係子句作為前面提過名詞（先行詞）的補充說明。限定和非限定用法的差別在於，限定用法不會加逗點，使用時機為先行詞不明確，而需要子句來「指示」和「限制」先行詞。非限定用法則會加逗點，因為先行詞明確，非限定關係子句僅是「補充說明」，若省略補充說明的資訊，仍是一個完整句。以句子為例，It contains flavonoids, which lower blood pressure and increase blood flow. 其中的 "which lower blood pressure and increase blood flow" 只是補充說明名詞 flavonoids 的功用，若省略成 "It contains flavonoids." 也還會是一項完整的資訊唷。

1. This film is praised for its use of montage, which is a technique compressing time and space into a series of shots.
這部電影用了「蒙太奇」手法，將時空壓縮成一系列鏡頭的剪接技巧，因而大受好評。
2. The bar is located on Pine Street, which gets pretty busy at night.
這間酒吧位於松林街上，這條街在晚上會變得很熱鬧。
3. I really want to win this tournament, which has a large prize pool.
我真得很想要贏得這場比賽，因為這比賽的獎金豐厚。
