介系詞 with
with 做介系詞可以表達諸多意思。今天我們要介紹的是解釋受詞的狀態，在 with 後會接續狀態（可用現在分詞 Ving / 過去分詞 Vpp / 形容詞），表達「因為…」、「處於…狀態」或「隨著…」。 像：Take a look through the news stories and you'll see photos of concerned citizens with their faces covered. 這邊表達的是民眾的臉的狀態是被（口罩）遮住的。

我洗碗時一職開著水龍頭。
2. Grandma sits on the chair with her eyes closed.
奶奶閉著眼睛坐在椅子上。
