片語介系詞
們看到了許多片語介系詞的用法，片語介系詞顧名思義就是指一個具有介系詞功能的片語，本課的 according to 和 aside from 就是這個用法，它們用在附屬子句，來連接主要子句，例如 Aside from their economic wealth and power, Mormons have also started to get more involved in the political arena. 意思是「除了經濟財富和權力，摩門教徒越來越積極參與政治。」aside from 「除了」在這邊就表現出摩門教徒不只擁有經濟財富和權力，更重要的是他們還參與政治。英文有很多片語介系詞，像是 in spite of 、because of 等等，以下舉例說明：
