分詞片語
我們其實已經熟知分詞片語當形容詞的用法了，常見的有 exciting、interesting、boring、stunning 等等。還有一種是分詞片語「後位修飾」先行詞（名詞）的情況。由於是片語，整體字數會偏多、偏長，因此我們會將其移到名詞的後面來修飾名詞。通常分詞片語作形容詞的情況會出現在一個名詞之後，中間是沒有逗點隔開的。例如 there are no lines dividing nations 這句就是個很明顯的例子。

1. The kids dressed in those Halloween costumes look so adorable.
那些穿聖誕裝的小孩看起來好可愛。
2. A pedestrian hit by a speeding taxi is lying in the street.
被急駛的計程車撞到的那個人躺在路上。
3. A woman hurrying to catch a bus tripped and fell.
一個趕著搭公車的女士跌倒了。
