情態助動詞 Would
Would 除了可以表達較委婉的意願、在過去的某段時間將要做某事，也可以表達在過去的某段時間當中的「習慣」(habits in the past)。當 Would 用來表達過去的習慣時，句子中通常會有頻率副詞的出現唷！例如 he would always say... 意思就是「他總是會說...」。「總是會說」就代表當時他一直都有這麼說的習慣。注意 would 大多會加上一般動詞來表達這個意思，而不會接 be 動詞表達過去的習慣。讓我們來看看其他例句熟悉一下這個用吧～
