倒裝句
今天要來說明 only 的倒裝句型。首先，only 其實算是一種含有「否定」意味的副詞，而當我們在 only 後面加上「附屬連接詞」 when、before、after、then、once、if 或是「地方、時間介係詞」in、on、with、at 等要件後，會形成一種倒裝句。這樣以 only 為首的否定副詞片語已經移到句首了，語法上我們會將助動詞與主詞的位置對調，用來標記這一句是有經過「倒裝處理」的句型。only with sound answers to them 這個副詞片語就被移到了句首（sound 是「完整的；全面的」的意思），助動詞 can 與主詞 we 就會需要對換原本正常直述句中 SVO 的位置。
Example：
1. Only when the task is completed am I able to proceed to the next level.
只能在這個任務完成後，我才能進行下一階段。
2. Only by chance did Carl discover where the birds are nesting.
Carl 只是出於僥倖才發現那些鳥在哪裡築巢。
3. Only after my brother agrees to come with me will I go to the concert.
只有在我哥哥答應跟我同行後，我才會去那場演唱會。
