複合形容詞
「複合形容詞」，例如例句 The U.S. feared Castro's anti-American views. 其中的 "anti-American" 就是 “anti-" 與 "American" 兩個形容詞組合。複合形容詞就字面上來說就是由兩個，甚至多個字，所組合而成到形容詞。剛好我們今天所碰到的形容詞，都是由「兩個形容詞」所組成。
Example：
1. She's quite old-fashioned in her outlook.
她的觀點有點守舊。
2. Whenever I reminisce about the past, a lot of bitter-sweet memories come back to my mind.
每當我回憶起過去，很多苦中帶甜的回憶湧上心頭。
3. I have the same dark-green dress as the one on you.
