◇ Comparatives
比較級
形容詞的比較級，通常看形容詞的「音節數」，再決定是在後面加上 -er ，或是在形容詞前面加上 more。兩個音節內，形成比較級加 -er。三個音節以上，加 more。例如，big 為單音節，比較級便是 bigger。Beautiful 為三音節，比較級為 more beautiful。副詞 much、more、a lot、even 皆可用來修飾比較級的形容詞。
Example：
1. My house is larger than hers.
我的房子比她的還大。
2. Your smartphone is much more complicated than mine.
你的智慧型手機比我的複雜多了。
3. This party is a lot more fun than the one I went to yesterday.
這場派對比我昨天去的那場還好玩。
