比較級 vs. 最高級
今天要來介紹形容詞的「比較級」與「最高級」。形容詞比較級可以對兩個物體做比較，如較大、較小、較快、較高等。這類形容詞只能比較兩個名詞，由名詞（主格）+ 動詞 + 形容詞比較級 + than + 名詞（受格）組成。而最高級描述的事物，則是處於某些特性的上限或下限，如最高、最小、最快、最高等。當句中的主詞同時與多個受詞一起比較，就會用到這類形容詞。 例如：An objective friend can help you identify the best decision because they're not weighed down by the fear of what could be lost. 在這裡「the best」所使用的就是最高級形容詞，表示最好的意思。

1. You made me the happiest person in the world.
你讓我成為這世上最快樂的人。
2. Your box is smaller than mine. In fact, your box is the smallest.
你的盒子比我的還小。事實上，你的盒子是最小的。
3. That was the best movie I have seen in years!
