Yet 的用法
yet 本身是一般副詞，通常插入在句中或是句首來形容整句話。首先，yet 有「然而、儘管」的意思，表達轉折的語氣，和 but、however 等連接詞意思接近。如 And yet the camel managed to survive by developing this emergency food system, if you like: the hump. 然而駱駝卻能夠發展出這種賴以生存的緊急食物系統，或是你們喜歡叫：駝峰。另外 yet another 和 another 的語意非常相近，只是在語氣上 yet another 更為強烈，多了「強調」的意味。Yet 還有「再、還」的意思，通常和 again 詞搭配，表示數量增加或某事頻繁發生，如 the fat inside their humps helped them adapt yet again. 駝峰內的脂肪又再一次幫助他們適應環境。
Example：
1. She said she would be late, yet she arrived on time.
她說她會遲到，但還是準時到了。
2. The mail brought yet another reply.
這封郵件又帶來了一封回覆。
3. I'm sorry to bother you yet again.
我很抱歉又來麻煩你。
