Adverbs of degree can modify adjectives, adverbs, and verbs and tell us the extent to which something happens. Take this sentence as an example, "we should totally go on a girls’ trip." In this sentence, "totally" shows the speaker's strong desire to go on a trip with her friends. While in "Two-day delivery, it's pretty good," "pretty" modifies the adjective "good," suggesting that the speaker thinks two-day delivery is quite good.
