進階被動語態
英文中有許多動詞習慣上多會以「被動」的型態出現，或是在被動語態中會有不同的意思，以下幾個動詞，都常以被動的形式呈現在篇章句子中。例如，base、attract、suppose、expect、believe、use、made of、design、conceive 等。例句：The film is based on a true story. 鮮少會有人說 We base the film on a true story.
Example：
1. Dad is used to being in charge and it's difficult for him to take orders from anyone.
爸爸習慣了握有大權，要他聽命行事時在困難。
2. It is widely supposed the CEO will be forced to resign.
很多人都猜測總裁會被迫離職。
3. Their first child was conceived on their wedding night.
他們在結婚當晚懷上了第一個孩子。
