◇ 關係副詞where的用法
關係副詞 where 可以用來連接子句，通常取代介系詞 (in, at, on, for) ＋關係代名詞 which 。由關係副詞所形成的關係子句，當形容詞使用，修飾前面的名詞，但 where 之前有沒有逗號意思差很多喔！舉例來說 the 15 governments outside of the UK where the Queen is head of state， where 前面沒有逗點我們叫「限定關係子句」，它用來辨別、修飾或限制住你所指的先行詞，不能省略。而 Westminster Abbey, where 2,000 specially invited guests will... 這一串中， where 之前有逗號，為「非限定關係子句」，僅對前面的先行詞作補充，可以省略。
Example：
1. That's the restaurant where we met for the first time.
那是我們第一次相遇的餐廳。（指定完美補充得以完整表達那間 restaurant）
2. That's a restaurant, where we could probably have a proper meal.
那是間餐廳，我們或許能在那裡吃一頓好吃的。（不一定要講後面那句補充都可以明確表達「那有間餐廳」的主題）
3. The place where we got married is going out of business.
我們當初結婚的地方要結束營業了。
