片語動詞
語動詞是由一個動詞和一個介係詞或副詞組合而成的（有時副詞和介係詞會同時出現）。把兩個不同的字組合在一起後，會形成一個新的片語，他的意思會跟原本的字完全不同。因為片語動詞沒辦法用組成字來推測意義，所以多看多背是很重要的。
Example：
1. We've been through a lot together, but our relationship is stronger because of it.
我們一起經歷了很多，但我們的感情因此更為堅定了。
2. You will have to face up to what you have done to her eventually.
你終究得正是你對她做的事情。
3. I need to run this budget by the boss before I can approve your expense account.
我在核准你的出帳前，必須先跟老闆過一下預算。
